Aztech Skype DECT phone with USB dongle HS315-S1 is a Dual-phone that allows users to make both Skype and PSTN calls on the same handset. The DECT phone can be placed far away from the computer. There is no USB cable connection to the base-station of the DECT phone. Just simply plug in the USB dongle on the PC (Skype application running on PC) and the handset becomes a Skypeenabled device. The handset can be placed up to 50m away from the PC.
The Skype user list is clearly displayed on the 1.5" colour display on the handset. Just scroll up and down the buddy list, push the 'Talk' button and the user can straight away make a Skype call.
The DECT handset is loaded with features. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows users to operate the phone with ease. It provides up to 120 hours standby time and 8 hours talk time, and allows registration of up to 4 handsets to the base-station. The handset also provides blue keypad backlight, handfree speakerphone and 9 polyphonic ring tones for the user select.
